I met my first Dalmadora - a combination of a black Lab and a Dalmatian - at Saturday's Delaware City Pet Parade. I had put my camera away and we were hustling to get home, so I didn't get a photo or even the name of the people who had the dog.

I thought if it had a cutesey name, it isn't a mutt, it's a "designer breed". The difference is an unwanted dog filling up a shelter vs a $1500 price tag.
ReplyDeleteShame on all the people that promote these "designer" mutts. When I was growing up we rescued a dog - I guess she was really a Dobeherd. The next one was a Cavatany.
